The Veil Guide

The veil really is the piece that brings your whole bridal look together. There is something magical about the moment a bride wears a veil for the first time!

Our veils are all chosen for their impeccable quality whether it be a simple shoulder length corded edge or a chapel length with intricate beading we know you will be delighted with your choice.

All our veils come on a metal comb as opposed to a plastic one, trust us your bridal hairdresser will thank you! All our veils are also available in any of the lengths below so if you see a style you like but it's not in the right length just let us know. We've put together some further information to help you....

Veil Lengths

We advise that you have decided on your bridal hairstyle before selecting your veil length as the placement of the veil along with where you would like it to fall to will dictate the appropriate length. Our guide below is based on the placement in our image........

20 Inches - Halfway down the upper arm

25 Inches -  Elbow Length

30 Inches -  Waist Length

36 Inches -  Fingertip Length

45 Inches -  Knee

72 Inches - Floor

90 Inches- Chapel length

108 Inches - Cathedral Length

 Veil Widths

The majority of our veils come in a standard 72 inch width. This gives the veil a small gather at the comb and the option of placing the veil completely behind your shoulders or around your shoulders. The other two veil widths are 54" which is narrower and will just sit behind the shoulders. The 108" provides more volume from the comb and offers the most coverage around the arms and shoulders. All our veils are available in any width so if the veil you love isn't shown just ask!
